You Can Mobilize Compassion

“Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.”

Matthew 9:35-36 NKJV

We are living in a time when there has been no greater need. More people than ever are facing food insecurity daily.

Many of us desire to help, to do something that can alleviate the suffering of others. We are motivated by a sense of compassion, best modeled by Jesus. Our Savior went about the cities teaching and preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom. He not only came to save souls but to feed bodies.

While the sheer number of people who need assistance may seem overwhelming, you can make an impact.

You can volunteer. There are many opportunities for people to help others by giving time. Many hands can be a blessing for those in great need.

You can donate to the mission of Helping Hands. Your tax-deductible contributions can go a long way toward providing food items for families served by the ministry.

You can pray. Prayer is the most powerful thing you can do in serving those in need. To learn about specific prayer needs, subscribe to our newsletter.

We are in need of laborers for the harvest, and the harvest is now. Thank you for prayerfully considering how you can come alongside us at Caring Hands to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we mobilize compassionate service towards our neighbors.

"Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'”

Matthew 9:37-38 NKJV
