Our Daily Bread
Supplemental Food Pantry

Our Daily Bread is a supplement to our regular food pantry. We realize that some families may need extra produce, canned goods, and bakery items between food pantry visits. Families can visit Our Daily Bread once a week. The variety and quantity of food available through Our Daily Bread varies depending upon availability. The program operates through our Altoona Food Pantry.

Simple Supper

Simple Supper is a community-wide invitation to fellowship around a delicious meal each month. Everyone is welcome, and there's no need to RSVP. Dine-in and carry-out options are both available.

Our next supper is Monday, November 28 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Adventure Life Church: 1700 8th St SW, Altoona. Our friends from Altoona United Methodist Church will be serving assorted hot pasta dishes, layered lettuce salad, rolls, and cookies.

Uplift Program

Our Uplift Program offers limited help with clothing, household items, utilities, and rent.

We know that sometimes you need more than just food. Our Uplift Program begins with a one-on-one conversation to understand your needs. Many times it is food and clothing. Other times, it's more complex. We are here to build relationships and help break the cycle of poverty.
