Caring Hands Thrift Store
Caring Hands Thrift Store located at Caring Hands Center in Altoona, Iowa. At our thrift store, you'll find clothing for the entire family, furniture, home decor, vintage items, kitchen items, collectibles, and home goods.
When you support our thrift store, you are helping your neighbors right here in your community. All of the money raised through sales support the work of Caring Hands to help our neighbors with more than food. Our thrift store also provides job training for differently-abled community members.
Store Hours (beginning March 1)
Monday - Friday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Donation Hours (beginning March 1)
Monday - Friday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
We depend upon the generous donations of our supporters to provide us with items to sell in our thrift store. We will gratefully accept your donations of:

furniture in good repair (no rips or stains, from non-smoking homes only)
