We're hosting a cookout and you're invited!
On Saturday, May 6, Caring Hands is hosting a community-wide cookout to launch our spring bedding plant sale. The event runs from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm, and food will be served between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Bring the whole family and enjoy live music by Matt Baird, free food, door prizes, and more. Several local civic groups are cooking up delicious beef, pork, and chicken, and local church members will provide side dishes and desserts.
We will have flower and vegetable bedding plants available to purchase. Be sure to arrive early so you can get all the plants you need for your garden. And all of your purchases help fund our food pantries and Uplift Program.
Secondhand Treasures is extending their hours that day, so plan to spend some time in the shop to find your next bargain. We'll offer tours throughout the day if you haven't yet visited our new location at 602 3rd St SW in Altoona.
