How long have you been volunteering at Caring Hands?

Since June 2021


What did you do before you retired?

I was an attorney.


What inspired you to serve at Caring Hands?

I want to be of service to my new community of Altoona. I love interacting with members of the community.


What do you typically do when you volunteer?

Mostly, I help with maintenance and organizing the facility. I also help with stocking merchandise.


Tell us about a time you were blessed by your work as a volunteer at Caring Hands.

Meeting people and creating new friendships has been a huge blessing in my life.


What do you wish people knew about Caring Hands?

All the good things that Caring Hands does for the community!

I farmed for about 20 years before becoming an attorney.
