What inspired you to serve at Caring Hands?
I believe we are called to help our friends and neighbors in need in our community. Providing food and assisting with basic needs are one of ways we can do this. I started volunteering at Caring Hands and loved the mission of Caring Hands as well as the commitment and passion of our volunteers. Joining the board is a way to further my commitment to this great organization.
What do you hope Caring Hands accomplishes in the next 6 months?
I am very excited about the future of Caring Hands and am looking forward to furthering our mission to serve our community when we move to our new location.
What do you wish people knew about Caring Hands?
Our services go beyond being a food pantry. Our volunteers fulfill a variety of roles and truly care about helping our neighbors in need.
Tell us one fun fact most people don't know about you.
I have many hobbies, but especially enjoy gardening, puzzles and games, reading mysteries, hiking, biking, and traveling.
